We'll never survive, unless we get a little crazy!

I Love... (December)

Yellow, yellow, and more yellow — even the song by Coldplay, churros con chocolate, Jack Frost, pretty sandals, wooden bracelets, puppies, Forever 21 (and H&M, of course!), strappy killer heels, Chatsworth, Swiss Miss, wishing upon a star, story-telling (and hearing stories as well), falling asleep in someone else’s arms, waking up to a bright and beautiful new day, getting all made-up, comfort food, road trips, hearing a song on the radio and singing out loud with friends, anything pink, Ghirardelli, late nights out, slip-ons, bazaars, taking long walks, dressy tops, toasted marshmallow Jelly Bellies, Nigella Express, sleepless nights (these could actually be fun! Haha), Chris Evans, Sean Faris and Taylor Lautner, productive weekends, Krispy Kremes, being silly and not caring about it at all, cotton candy, baking, weekends in general, giving and recieving, trying out new things, Miami Ink, fedoras, Christmas — and everything about it.

Now, how about you? What else do you love, this start of a lovely new month? :)

Strawberry Avalanche

Wow. It’s been about 2 weeks since my last update. I didn’t even see the week go by, did you? Anyway, the week before last week was typical. Friday was spent in the South, as my senior classmates and I decided to check the Zobel fair out. As usual, it was pretty boring. School fairs aren’t meant to be fun anyway — or are they? Haha hmmm… At least I think so, cause I never really had fun in any school fair I had to attend. The only interesting part about going to the fair this year’s we got to reminisce and have a few flashbacks about our high school days. Oh how I wish I could turn back time… Seriously. Well, after the fair, we headed to Town then Julian’s to simply catch up with each other. Good company’s all that matters. Saturday, on the other hand, was spent on the opposite side. Go figure. I watched New Moon, and I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with some parts of the movie. Of course, not with Jacob! Haha I don’t think any girl would be disappointed with his uber-hot transformation, yeah? But gotta admit, the book’s always better.

Last Friday was spent in the South as well, since a few of my girlfriends and I decided to give the Cuenca bazaar a whirl. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find anything. Pretty unbelievable, cause the bazaar had almost 600+ stalls! I guess I’m just really picky. Plus it was so hot! We went to Town again to grab a bite after Cuenca, then we were supposed to go to Julian’s again, but it didn’t push through cause some of my friends had to head home. I stayed home last Saturday, movie-tripping and baking — I haven’t lost my touch and I don’t think I’ll ever lose it, thank you. :) Pretty much wanting to start my business again. Soon? Soon.

I need:

A roof deck and a shooting star.

If I had my life to live over, I’d dare to make more mistakes next time. I’d relax; I’d limber up. I would be sillier than I have been this trip. I would take fewer things seriously. I would take more chances. I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers. I would eat more ice cream and less beans. I would perhaps have more actual troubles, but I’d have fewer imaginary ones.

You see, I’m one of those people who lived sensibly and sanely hour after hour, day after day. Oh, I had my moments, and if I had to do it over again, I’d have more of them. In fact, I’d try to have nothing else. Just moments, one after the other, instead of living so many years ahead of each day. I’ve been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat, and a parachute. If I had it to do over again, I would travel lighter than I have.

If I had my life to live over again, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall. I would go to more dance; I would ride more merry-go-rounds. I would pick more daisies.

I wasn’t able to get any sleep at all last Saturday, as I thought. The night was spent in Greenbelt & Shangri-La as we drove around Makati looking for a place to have a good conversation over drinks, but it was packed everywhere, so we stayed in 7-11 till 2 am or so, and went back to the hotel after grabbing a bite. We watched Paranormal Activity (— which I actually find a bit too overrated, but I honestly fear getting dragged out of my bed while I’m asleep) and just hung out until everyone, excluding myself, fell asleep. I decided against attending the Animo Run and talked my other friends who were also required to attend, into ditching it but one of them refused so she left the hotel at around 4:30 am. Crazy, just crazy. If I had attended, I bet I would’ve collapsed and fainted in the middle of the route due to the lack of sleep! I went down to the pool area at 6 am with Konrad to have a smoke, thank God he was awake. I wasn’t the only one wide awake the whole night after all. My friends left for the South the next morning at around 10 am and I was left with Nicole for a bit. I wasn’t able to go with the rest of my friends since I had something planned out — I watched 2012 in Greenbelt trying to keep my eyes open throughout the whole movie but unfortunately, I couldn’t. I was able to stay awake during some of parts worth-seeing, though. It would be really sad if the world would just fall apart like it did in the movie, but seriously, I think the whole Doomsday 2012 thing is just… plain… crap.

Anyway, my school week turned out pretty well, all in all. We had our online enrollment yesterday, which was probably considered to be the craziest 10 minutes of my life. I brought my laptop to school, but ended up using it in Julian’s place cause La Salle lost internet connection for a while, so I got freaked out and left for his place with 2 other new found friends (his block mates), and got there right on time, thanks to Julian’s portable rotating light! We were so nervous we wouldn’t be able to get any slots for the subjects and the schedules we wanted — but thank God we did and everything turned out well, we even got to make ourselves classmates in one subject! Julian, being extremely happy — since he got his dream schedule, treated us to ice cream / coke floats after. Yay! Thank you, Julian! :) Headed back to class and I was an hour late. Haha!

PE was cancelled today cause of the Animo Run, meaning attendance during the Animo run would be the attendance for today. Too bad I missed it! Haha! Darn. I miss PE. (I seriously cannot believe I’m saying this) I was out today at 2:30, and alas! My weekend has finally started! For some reason, lately, my days seem to fly by so quickly. I’ll be going to Zobel tomorrow with a few other friends to check their fair out, and then probably watch a movie after or simply hang around. Hmmm… I got a feeling I’ll be having a great weekend! :)
